Our corporate responsibility is at the core of our strategy. We have the firm conviction that information technologies and communication play a key role in sustainable development. For us, to be a responsible company means even more than promotion of social progress, charity actions and preservation of the environment. It is to innovate, to develop sustainable products and services, accessible to the majority, which improve daily lives of our customers while helping them in their personal and professional domains.

We have elaborated a strategy of corporate social responsibility, directed to the needs of the modern society. This will express our role of responsible company towards our customers, employees, suppliers and the society.

In the domain of charity, philanthropy and social responsibility Orange Armenia has defined its main fields to be education, health and leisure of children and youth, as well as the sustainable development of vulnerable rural communities.

In order to reach these objectives, we cooperate in Armenia with the professionals of the above-mentioned fields, who have substantial experience and are devoted to their job. For special projects we cooperate with different organizations, but we also have permanent partners. At the beginning of 2010 we started cooperation with the non-governmental charitable organization “Shen” for the projects of development of vulnerable rural communities. Our objective is not only bringing our assistance to the community with punctual charitable actions, but also finding the right domain to invest for each case, in order to favor the sustainable development and have long-­term influence.  

Being a telecommunication brand, we cannot stay indifferent towards those members of the society who have communications problems. As in all countries where Orange operates, in Armenia also we invest in projects for children affected with autism. From April 2010 we cooperate with the United Charitable Foundation for Children “Arabkir”, who for more than 10 years has been devoted to the care and socialization of autistic children.
