Only a few months ago Orange installed base stations in Kachachkut and Antaramut villages of Lori region, thus making mobile telecommunications available to these villages for the first time. Already today computer centers are operating in these villages, giving for the first time the possibility to acquire computer skills, use internet and be part of the modern world, without the necessity of having a computer at home. These modern computer centers were founded by Orange in cooperation with “Shen” charitable organization.

Salute the ArmNet Awards 2013 winners
The panarmenian web-contest results were announced on November 30. «ArmNet Awards» annual contest was organized for the fourth time since 2010. ArmNet’s mission is to evaluate the progress in the development of the Armenian segment of Internet and to inspire the creation of new Armenian projects.
Starting from December 1 Orange offers to choose melodies for Ring Back Tone from a new and richer catalogue, where customers can find more than 10,000 different musical tracks. Starting from December 1 the monthly fee for Dolphin, Butterfly and Panther monthly subscribers as well as Orange Business customers will be 350 AMD/monthly.
During the pan-European Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013, which will be held in Ukraine, Kiev, Orange subscribers will have the opportunity to vote for their preferred song.In order to vote for the preferred song customers will need to send an SMS with the number of the participant country to the 5001 short number or to call 0900990 dialing at the end the participant country number (e.g. 090099005). The terms and the voting time will be announced by the TV show hosts during the contest. In 3 years, more than 50 000 people have benefitted from free eye care services: the Armenian Eye Care Project and the Orange Foundation are summarizing the results of the work done in 2011-2013
The 2013 program of the Armenian Eye Care Project and the Orange Foundation is ending in Aragatsotn region, which has the objective to provide free eye care services to vulnerable populations of Armenia. This cooperation started in 2011 and in 3 years, thanks to it, 40,688 adults and 9,997 children have been screened, 3,768 surgeries and laser treatments have been realized, 18,140 pairs of glasses were distributed, 3,659 children in 53 regional schools have participated in special classes on daily eye care. These are the results of 3-year activities of the AECP and the Orange Foundation in 9 regions of Armenia, out of which Shirak and Aragatsotn were visited twice.
For the fourteenth year running, Orange is partnering with the Fonds Arménien de France for its Phonethon charity appeal.
