07.02.2013 Orange launched up to 42 Mbps speed supporting network in Etchmiadzin
Orange announced today the upgrade of its 3G+ network up to 42Mbps download speed in Etchmiadzin – the fourth largest city of Armenia. In this way, Echmiadzin joins Yerevan, Gyumri and Vanadzor where Orange network supports up to 42Mbps speed since last year.

05.02.2013 Orange Advocates Safe Internet Use
Today over 90 countries are celebrating Safe Internet Day. This year already the 2nd time on this occasion Orange Armenia, jointly with the Safe Internet Committee of Armenia, coordinated by the Media Education Center NGO, has initiated the large-scale project “Safe Internet Armenia 2013”. In the scope of this one-month project about 300 teachers from 150 schools will be trained and over 3000 pupils and students with pedagogical education will participate in an open lesson. This year a special focus is put on the awareness and education of parents on safe internet use, who will be provided the chance to participate in workshops at schools dedicated to the mentioned topic.

04.02.2013 ORANGE RECOGNIZED AS THE QUALITY-LEADING MOBILE INTERNET NETWORK IN ARMENIA ACCORDING TO AN INTERNATIONAL STUDY
Orange Armenia has been recognized as the leading 3G+ mobile internet network in Armenia, according to the study conducted by the independent and internationally recognized “P3 Communications” German consulting firm, by the request of Orange France Telecom Group. The study, based on the use of international standards, has evaluated several parameters, such as access to static websites, including the YouTube homepage, video streaming, sending and receiving emails, file upload and download and website access time of 26 mobile networks in 8 European countries. All tests were conducted with commercially available USB modems, smartphones and specific software.

01.02.2013 Orange customers to receive 5 free international minutes in return for 10 incoming minutes

Today Orange has announced about the prolongation of international calls offer until 31 March. Respectively, just by receiving calls from their close ones living abroad, Orange voice services customers will receive free minutes to use for making international calls.

31.01.2013 30 AMD unprecedented rate for calls and data roaming in Russia
Orange and MegaFon are pleased to announce about the continuation and expansion of the roaming partnership between the two companies. Since April 2012, Orange customers, when using the roaming service in MegaFon network in Russia, make and receive calls to and from Orange Armenia and MegaFon customers at only 30 AMD/minute rate. From February 1st Orange Armenia customers will also benefit from a 30AMD tariff per MB for GPRS data while roaming on MegaFon network in Russia.

24.01.2013 Orange will extend its coverage in a number of rural areas
Orange Armenia will extend the coverage of its network in the following rural areas: Ditsmayr, Geghanush, Gomaran, Bnunis (Syunik region) and Antaramut, Kachachut (Lori region). All these villages will be covered with the modern technology allowing up to 21.6 Mbps download speed.

Improvements and upgrades will be performed in the Orange network on the night from 22 to 23 January, from 4am to 5am, in order to further improve the quality of voice services. Orange is striving to minimize any limitation or unavailability of services that may be caused by these works. Orange apologizes in advance to its customers for possible inconveniences.
