Orange Foundation supported the furnishing of kindergarten in Arevashogh village
The newly built kindergarten of Arevashogh village (Lori region) will open its doors in a nicely furnished building, equipped with modern kitchen facilities. Located right next to Spitak, Arevashogh village was almost completely destroyed during the earthquake of 1988, but today it has 3250 inhabitants.In contrast with many other villages, it experiences positive demographic growth, but did not have a kindergarten till today. The building, constructed by the means of the community and government, is now completely ready to welcome 60 pupils of pre-school age. It will not only allow children to have pre-school education and become a member of the society in their early years, but will also give the women the opportunity to work.

Thanks to donations by Orange customers and the Orange Foundation two more children will join their family
Today Orange Foundation and World Vision Armenia announced the results of the second month of implementation of “Let’s Keep Children Home” SMS charity project. This project gives the chance to every Orange customer to support Armenian children whose families, due to financial difficulties, cannot keep them at home and deliver them to the care of state institutions.

Orange Foundation supports the development of women enterpreneurship
Today in the scope of Women’s Entrepreneurship Development programme the Republican Union of Employers of Armenia /RUEA/ and Orange Foundation launched the third and final stage of roundtable discussions on “Women entrepreneurs to develop stronger and more competitive business”. The first satage of roundtable discussions was participated by women entrepreneurs representing small and medium-size businesses, such as marketing, diverse services, handicraft, trade, private employment agencies, etc. The second and third stages of discussions were participated by beginner women entrepreneurs who in the scope of these discussions met with specialists of different business domains to acquire knowledge of tax legislation, marketing skills, written or unwritten rules of business with their help. In addition, roundtable discussions will give them the chance to exchange experience with more experienced business women engaged in small and medium-size businesses.

Orange Book Prize 2012 launched
Today Orange announced the launch of Orange Book Prize 2012. The objective of the contest is to boost interest in reading, reveal the literary works by contemporary Armenian writers and through the daily evolving electronic media spread them among large group of readers. With this initiative Orange also joins book and reading festivities in Yerevan. It is worth reminding that Yerevan has been declared World Book Capital this year. Orange Book Prize is organized and implemented in cooperation with the Armenian Book Center NGO.
