Today Orange Foundation has announced the launch of a large scale initiative under the name of “One Village”. The final objective of this initiative is to help the comprehensive development of rural communities. In particular, it will target the development of sustainable economic activities and jobs as well as the improvement of education and healthcare facilities of the selected communities. The first project will be implemented in Hartavan village, Aragatsotn region by Shen charitable NGO and will last one year. It will benefit from a 55MAMD support by Orange Foundation.
Only 3 weeks remain till the 1st of April, when Armenians will be able to choose the preferred operators without changing at all their mobile numbers. This will be possible thanks to the new Mobile Number Portability free service. On this occasion, Orange has launched its dedicated information campaign in order to answer any question raised by the public regarding MNP service. In the frame of this campaign a special website www.1qayl.am and hotline 055 000 222 have been opened. From now on, all Armenian citizens interested in understanding the conditions of porting can find all relevant information on the website and can address their questions online or through a call, as well as request a call back. Those who will decide to move their number to Orange will have the opportunity to preregister online. Moreover, the owners of every 1000th preregistered number will get a chance to receive an iPhone 5C.
Events envisaged in the scope of “Safe Internet” continue
Today, finalizing “Safe Internet” month, Orange has presented another surprise for its Internet subscribers – possibility to use Kaspersky Anti-Virus and Kaspersky Internet Security software solutions at only 1 AMD during March and April.
From now on, while travelling to Germany and Georgia Orange customers will be able to use roaming services with special Orange Zone tariffs – only 250 AMD/minute for incoming as well as calls to local networks, Armenia and other countries and SMS services. Mobile internet will as well be available for 250 AMD/MB tariff.
Today Orange has announced several major changes for the benefit of existing and new Orange internet customers starting from the 1st of March. From now on, subscribers of Internet Hima 6000 tariff plan will get 5GB high-speed internet instead of 3GB. Internet Hima 11000 subscribers will receive 25GB high-speed internet instead of 20GB and will also get Kaspersky Anti-Virus software free of charge. Monthly fee for Internet Hima 9000 tariff plan will be decreased to 8000 AMD and the subscribers of Internet Hima 20000 tariff plan will now pay 15000 AMD and will get the full Kaspersky security suite for free.
Orange prolongs its special offer to call MegaFon Russia and all Russian fixed networks at 25 AMD/minute rate. All Orange voice subscribers will continue to have the possibility to activate a bundle of 20 minutes duration for just 500 AMD till June 30, 2014.

Orange Encourages Safe Internet Use
Today more than 90 countries are celebrating Safe Internet Day. For the third time in a row on the occasion of this day Orange, together with the Safe Internet Committee of Armenia and Media Education Center NGO, has initiated the “Safe Internet Armenia” large-scale project. The main emphasize of the program this year is child protection.
On the 31st of January RA Public Service Regulatory Commission adopted a decree complementing the «Rules of public electronic communication mobile number portability service». The Decree will ensure, that from the 1st of April 2014, each citizen of the RA, willing to change his mobile operator, will have the freedom to do so, while keeping fully his existing number. The change of operator and maintenance of the existing number will be for free and in more than 90% of cases will be performed within one working day.
