Orange has announced today its objective to become the best place to buy tablets associated with internet services. From today a wide range of new tablet models will be available in Orange shops together with a new “MyTab” offer, tailored specially for tablet users. Only for 2500 AMD monthly fee, customers of “MyTab” tariff plan will be able to use internet services unlimitedly, with the speed up to 1 Mbps. This offer will satisfy fully the needs of tablet users, no matter where they bought their tablets from, allowing them to freely surf on the web, use social networks and applications, watch videos online, etc.
Today Orange Foundation and “Arabkir” United Children’s Charity Foundation have announced the scope of the “Let’s Help Autistic Children” project for the year 2014. Launched in 2010, the project aims at improving early detection of autism in Armenia, supporting autistic children and their parents in all related issues, as well as implementing modern tools for autism diagnostic and treatment.
Today Orange has announced major changes for its prepaid subscribers. First of all, Orange customers will be able to accumulate the validity of their SIM cards when recharging their accounts and will as well be sure that the money on their account will not be “burnt”. This approach is unique for the Armenian prepaid market. Each recharge will add a certain number of days to the period during which customers will be able to use their cards actively and use Orange services. The bigger the recharge amount the more active days will be added to the customer’s account. Customers will be able as well to recover the money accumulated on their accounts even after active periods of their recharges are expired.
Today leaders of the Armenian Eye Care Project (AECP) and Orange Foundation have visited the mobile eye hospital hosted by Ararat town. This visit aimed to finalize the works carried out in Ararat region, where according to the project around 3,000 adults and 1,750 children have been screened, around 330 surgeries have been conducted and 150 glasses provided. The mobile eye hospital has stopped in Masis, Artashat and Ararat towns. In April, along with eye screening services, 9 schools in Ararat region have also hosted special classed on eye care for 740 children.
On May 13 the results of “HAYAK 2014” National Cinema Awards were finalized at the National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre after Alexander Spendiaryan. This year 52 films have participated in the contest.
President Serzh Sargsyan and the President of the French Republic Francois Hollande, who is in Armenia on a state visit, have visited today the Orange shop, located in Yerevan Mall.
