Orange continues to make high speed internet more available for its subscribers. From now on subscribers of Internet Hima 8000 tariff plan will as well be able to benefit from the high speed H+ 42Mbps network of Orange.
With only 6 days remaining till the launch of the Mobile Number Portability service in Armenia, Orange introduces its new tariff plan “Eagle” with minutes to all networks at exactly the same affordable rate. For only 2000 AMD monthly fee, this tariff plan includes 200 all net minutes and 200 MB. After finishing their monthly included minutes, customers of the new Eagle tariff plan will be able to call to any Armenian network at a flat rate of 15 AMD/min, without worrying about the cost.
Today Orange has announced new improvement of its after-sales services. After having offered to its customers the possibility to deposit phones to be repaired in any Orange Shop all over Armenia ,Orange will now offer them the possibility to track at any time the status of their device repair through Orange website. This possibility will be available both for customers using paid device repair and warranty device repair services.
Orange Foundation and the Armenian Eye Care Project (AECP) announce the launch of 2014 free eye care project, in the frame of which inhabitants of Ararat, Vayots Dzor, Gegharkunik, Syuniq and Armavir regions will benefit from free eye care services. The works in Gegharkunik will be conducted by a special request of the RA Ministry of Healthcare of Armenia.
Till the 6th of April all Orange prepaid customers will be able to call to Iran with a special rate of 70AMD/min, instead of usual 90AMD/min. SMS to Iran can be sent with the same 20AMD/SMS tariff. The special rates will not be applied for customer using roaming services.
Today Orange has presented a special spring offer for Internet customers. Those, subscribing to Orange Internet services for 12 months until the 15th of April, will receive 5GB high speed internet monthly and will be offered Internet Now modem for 1 AMD at only 5000 AMD monthly fee.
Orange Foundation has opened another computer center, this time in Davtashen village, Aragatsotn region, with the support of Shen charitable NGO. The newly opened center is equipped with 7 computers, a printer, Orange MyFi 3G router, which allows up to 21.6Mbps download speed, and comfortable furniture. Special computer courses will be provided to further promote the use of these equipment and make Internet services more available for the inhabitants of Davtashen village.
Today Orange Foundation has announced the launch of a large scale initiative under the name of “One Village”. The final objective of this initiative is to help the comprehensive development of rural communities. In particular, it will target the development of sustainable economic activities and jobs as well as the improvement of education and healthcare facilities of the selected communities. The first project will be implemented in Hartavan village, Aragatsotn region by Shen charitable NGO and will last one year. It will benefit from a 55MAMD support by Orange Foundation.
Only 3 weeks remain till the 1st of April, when Armenians will be able to choose the preferred operators without changing at all their mobile numbers. This will be possible thanks to the new Mobile Number Portability free service. On this occasion, Orange has launched its dedicated information campaign in order to answer any question raised by the public regarding MNP service. In the frame of this campaign a special website www.1qayl.am and hotline 055 000 222 have been opened. From now on, all Armenian citizens interested in understanding the conditions of porting can find all relevant information on the website and can address their questions online or through a call, as well as request a call back. Those who will decide to move their number to Orange will have the opportunity to preregister online. Moreover, the owners of every 1000th preregistered number will get a chance to receive an iPhone 5C.
Events envisaged in the scope of “Safe Internet” continue
Today, finalizing “Safe Internet” month, Orange has presented another surprise for its Internet subscribers – possibility to use Kaspersky Anti-Virus and Kaspersky Internet Security software solutions at only 1 AMD during March and April.
