Today a new Orange shop was opened in Yerevan, at 12, Tigran Mets str. address. During the ceremony of official inauguration of the shop Francis Gelibter, the CEO of Orange Armenia, congratulated the shop staff and noted in particular.
Orange informs that starting September 5th there will be tariff changes for calls to a number of international directions.
Starting from today Orange mobile voice and internet services will be available in Antaramut village of Lori region. This small village of around 300 inhabitants, founded in the 19th century, was not covered by the network of any mobile operator before. With Orange, Antaramut will have access not only to quality mobile voice services, but also to high-speed mobile internet. Starting tomorrow the Orange mobile shop will also be in the village, which will allow the inhabitants of the village to get voice and internet subscriptions, as well as necessary devices: handsets, modems, notebooks, accessories etc.
From August 21st till September 30th Orange offers to the first 5000 new customers who will join any of Dolphin, Butterfly and Panther monthly subscriptions for 24 months, to get not only a handset for a special price, but also one more handset for 1AMD, as a gift to one of the family members. The second handset, produced by Alcatel, features a good 2MP camera and mobile internet connectivity. It comes with a free prepaid SIM card, which will allow its user to call the owner of the main card and up to two other family members who use Orange services for free during the first month and then only for 20 AMD per day.
The new academic year will start soon, and on this occasion today Orange launched a special offer.
With the support of the Orange Foundation from here on the inhabitants of the border village of Vazashen in Tavush region will have a possibility to get involved in a new branch of agriculture and have sustainable source of income as a result. This village used to have about 1500 hectares of grape yards with around 2000 tons of harvest yearly and a long history of viniculture. However, since 1990s these lands have not been serving their purpose due to the danger of sniper fire. As a result, the inhabitants of this village have been deprived of their main business. In the scope of the agricultural projects of the Orange Foundation, 7 households received beehives and bees and were trained in bee keeping, thus having a possibility to get involved in this new and promising branch of agriculture.
Around 4,000 adults have already benefited from free eye screening services and 1900 glasses have been provided – while screenings are still ongoing– in the scope of the free eye screening and treatment program jointly implemented by the Armenian Eye Care Project (AECP) and Orange Foundation in Lori region in July and August. Until the end of the works carried out in the scope of this program the number of people, who will have benefited from laser treatment and surgery services, will reach around 400. As a reminder, in the scope of the large-scale program “Sight to Armenian Eyes”, implemented in the regions of Armenia, the eye care specialists first of all examine all those, who wish to be examined, and then if any problems are found requiring surgical intervention, the patients who are socially vulnerable are directed to the Mobile Eye Hospital for further treatment for free, or, if necessary, are provided with glasses.
Already for the fourth consecutive year the autistic children from Yerevan and from the regions of Armenia, accompanied by their nurses, spend their summer holidays in the summer recreation camp in Aparan, made possible thanks to the cooperation between the Orange Foundation and “Arabkir” United Children’s Charity Foundation.
Customer Service training courses were held in Yerevan and Vanadzor from July 29 till August 1 for the public sector employees, among them employees of registry offices or village municipalities, librarians, from different regions of Armenia. The training courses were held on the initiative of the Counterpart International. The organization was looking for a private company, distinguished for its high qualities and skills of customer service, and Orange Armenia was selected as the company to provide trainers for the mentioned courses.

Today Orange has presented a new offer for those who like to spend long summer days in internet. Thus, by subscribing to Orange Internet Now for 12 months, for only 5000 or 10,000AMD monthly fee till September 30th, customers will get respectively 5GB or 25GB high speed internet monthly. Moreover, Internet Now 10 000 AMD tariff plan subscribers will be offered an Internet Now modem or MyFi device with up to 21Mbps download speed capacity for 1 AMD only, and 5000 AMD tariff plan subscribers will be offered Internet Now modem with up to 14.4 Mbps download speed capacity for 1 AMD.
