25.11.2011 Orange launches partnership with the universities of Goris and Kapan
Orange launches a large-scale partnership project with the universities of the biggest cities of Syunik region. In the frames of the partnership agreements with Goris State University and Kapan branch of the State Engineering University of Armenia, the students of the mentioned two universities will be provided the chance to pass their internship in Orange and participate in the training and qualification courses organized for them by Orange employees.

24.11.2011 Orange starts partnership with State Linguistic University after V.Brusov
Today Orange Armenia signed a five-year partnership agreement with the State Linguistic University after V.Brusov. As part of the partnership agreement, students of the University will be provided the chance to pass their internship at Orange and participate in the training and qualification courses organized for them by the best specialists working at the company, who will also provide consultancy services to the University.

23.11.2011 Orange launched testing of up to 42Mb/sec download speed network in Armenia
Today Orange announced test launch of the most recent 3G+/HSPA technology in three large cities of Armenia – Yerevan, Gumri and Vanadzor, allowing up to 42Mb/sec download speed. Up to 42Mb/sec network is currently available only in testing mode.

17.11.2011 Orange is supporting the Phonethon - a charitable appeal on behalf of Armenia - by providing technical assistance and 4 of its call centres
For the twelfth year running, Orange is partnering with the Fonds Arménien de France for its Phonethon charity appeal, which will run from 17 to 20 November. Proceeds from the Phonethon go towards funding agricultural projects in the Tavush region and to providing safe drinking water for villages in Karabagh.

Joint project of Orange Foundation and Armenian Eye Care Project is ending

Joint project of free eye screenings and treatment launched by Orange Foundation and Armenian Eye Care Project (AECP) in Aragatsotn region, which aimed to provide free eye screening services to the residents of the region, as well as treatment for socially vulnerable people, is coming to its end.

Today an official start to the “ArmNet Awards 2011” panarmenian web-contest and “ArmNet 2011” series of events has been given.

05.11.2011 Today is the second anniversary of Orange presence in Armenia
Today is the second anniversary of launch of Orange services, on the occasion of which Bruno Duthoit, the CEO of the company summarized the results of company’s activities.

After two years of operation in the Armenian market, today Orange has 600,000 active customers out of which 70,000 are customers of mobile broadband internet.
